• Ongoing: Owensboro Museum of Science & History – “Magic: The Science of Illusion.” Some of the most famous magic tricks and illusions in history will happen right before your eyes in this exhibit that’s on loan to the Museum through December 31 from the California Science Center. • Continuing through January 1: Panther Creek Park – “Christmas At Panther Creek.” This annual celebration of light (over a quarter million of them) attracts thousands to the long and winding roads of the Park; begins at 6 p.m. each night through the New Year. • December 9: RiverPark Center – Holiday Pops Concert presented by the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra. A tradition in the area, the OSO, along with the help of the talented voices of the Owensboro Symphony Chorus and the Center Chorus, as well as the instruments of the OSO, bring popular Holiday music to the stage at RiverPark. THEATRE

• December 5: RiverPark CenterHairspray. From the wonderful mind of John Waters, and long-running hit on stage, comes this all-singing and dancing whoop that won nearly ten Tony awards during its run on Broadway. There’s a law on the books somewhere that every Holiday season, local theater companies must produce their version of the Dickens classic, and the TWO is not immune to the edict… and to everyone in the area’s benefit!
