Tosca seduces all with her voice, but loves only one man. When her
lover is imprisoned and faces death, she tries to use her charms to
save him. But ultimately she confronts a fateful dilemma: give herself
to the very man she despises or her lover will die. Grand choruses and
magnificent scenery make this one of opera’s most compelling
masterpieces.
