Dick Clark claims to have New Year’s most rockin’ eve. Of course, he also claims to be about 45-years-old and it seems to me like he’s been roaming the earth since the dawn of erect man. So, can you take anything Dick Clark says seriously? Well, you can’t if you’ve ever spent a rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Goldie!

Yep!  It’s that time of year again . . . when Goldie moves her show from the Best Little Opryhouse in Kentucky to the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro for (excuse the forthcoming “Dreamgirls” pun) one night only!  The Goldie’s New Year’s Eve show starts at 8pm and features four full hours of entertainment!  You’ll hear lots of country music and, of course, good old-fashioned rock and roll with Goldie’s trademark Rock ’N’ Roll Revue!

All the guys and girls who make up the Goldie’s show will be there:  Jon Brennan, Katie Lynn, Natasha Neely, Travis Estes, Janie Jett Mason and Jerry and, of course, The Backstage Band!  And, as always, Goldie promises some very special guests.  This year, you’ll see Firm Foundation and Elvis impersonator Brad McCrady. Tara Estes is ready to strap on her driver and passenger-side airbags to bring you her flawless Dolly Parton impersonation.  And yours truly will be there decked out as Elton John. Okay, so I’m Elton John on Dexatrim, but you’ll get the point when you see the fur hat, the 4-inch platforms and the star-shaped glitter glasses!

Tickets for Goldie’s New Year’s Eve show are $20.00 for adults. Kids 12 and under are FREE. And, no, Mavis Beacon, that’s not a typo! I said FREE! Of course, Creative Catering will be serving breakfast at midnight.  That’s an additional $10.00 for adults and $8 for the kiddos! For tickets, you can call the RiverPark Center box office at (270) 687-ARTS, you can log onto www.riverparkcenter.org and order your tickets online, or you can try to win them on The Country Station, 92.5 WBKR!
