LYNC Ministries and the Executive Inn Rivermont are bringing
a unique and inspirational Christian conference to Owensboro. In its second year, Elevation: This Generation Rising, is
devoted to “elevating” teenagers’ walk with God. Throughout the weekend of
February 15-16, you and your teens will have the opportunity to strengthen and
grow your relationship with Christ.
Friday, February 15, will be a
night jam-packed with fun and worship. Concerts by Dove Award winning Christian
hip-hop group, Grits, and Christian rock group, The Remnant kick off the
festivities and make the evening even more exciting.
Throughout the afternoon on Saturday, February 16, a variety
of teaching sessions, seminars, workshops and speakers serve to bolster and
challenge the modern youth.
Later in the evening, several
talented bands heat up the stage once again, including Christian rock group,
Falling Up, Christian alternative group, Spoken, and another rockin’ band, The
Beautiful Republic. These great acts lead up to the headliner of the evening:
the Christianiated crunk band, Family Force 5. Needless to say, this will not
be your usual reading-from-the-hymn-book worship service.
LYNC, a network of youth ministers involving every major denomination, and
the Executive Inn Rivermont have worked diligently to give the youth of Owensboro a quality
Christian conference at an affordable price. Prepare to be elevated
throughout a weekend of encouraging guest speakers, educational workshops and
inspirational and entertaining music!
