On April 20, the RiverPark Center
once again comes alive with Broadway at the RiverPark’s final installment Gypsy. This show will definitely have
you on the edge of your seat ready to “sing out!”

Describing the plot of this show is
like peeling back the layers of an onion; there are several levels and elements
that create this electrifying plot. On one layer, you have a driven mother
pushing her two daughters (although focusing more on one than the other) to be
someone great. On another, it is about how one sister finally steps out of the
other sister’s shadow to be more than any of them could have ever dreamed.
Finally, it is about a mother realizing that although the dreams she had for
her kids have come true, she is left all along with her own aspirations still
unrealized.
Far from a downer of a play, this
high-energy show will certainly entertain and remind you “Everything’s Coming Up
Roses!” sponsored by the City of Owensboro, Time Warner Cable, Messenger-Inquirer,
Century Aluminum, and WFIE-TV, do not miss the final installment of the 2007-2008 BB&T Presents Broadway at
RiverPark Season!
Tickets, priced at $37 and $47, are on sale now and can be
purchased at RiverPark
Center box office,
riverparkcenter.org or by calling (270) 687-2787.
