I love March, mainly because on the 17th all my kids load the bus and are clad in the silliest, most outrageous emerald garments imaginable! I love it when kids get in the spirit of dress-up days: green striped knee-high socks, plastic derby hats, “kiss me, I’m Irish” t-shirts and plenty of beads and face paint. Why don’t we, as adults, get into dress-up days? Would it be considered unprofessional to have a wee bit of face paint gracing our cheek at a luncheon? Why?! We should all embrace our inner child and slide those sinister stripety socks on under our trousers and loafers. Or, embrace your inner child with these fun events.
